The location to Surfers. Really nice place to stay. Good Restuarant. Pool, rooftop area and views. Quiet appartment. liked the lifts and atrium.
Nothing to dislike
I have stayed there on many occassions and have always found "The Atrium" a pleasant and enjoyable place for our holiday and only a short drive to Theme Parks and Shopping.
Good and quiet location with beach side view Self contained apartments for two families stay Closer to the theme parks and the beaches
it was clean and cheap and safe
Every thing function and was equipped.A good concept.
Absence of wash sink plugs. I guess I will need to carry one next time.
there were no swimming pools for my 4year old boy. he loves his pools but he was very sad that day. we stayed in other hotels in Gold Coast where he enjoyed the most of his pools. He does not want to go back to The Atrium Resort.
Location was good.. Bus stop close by.. View of ocean. Good size rooms.. Adequate kitchen..
The pool on the roof and the bbq area were unavailable.. Shade over the ground floor pool would make this more attractive .
The view, and comfort
Kitchen was small, not enough toilet paper supplied. Had trouble getting a guarantee on selected room.
Its proximity to the Gold Coast Theme Parks, beach and shopping/eating venues. We also liked the swimming pool and spa, the games room and the rooftop BBQ area. There was lots to keep the kids, aged 11 and 13 occupied. Carl, manager, is approachable and willing to answer questions/solve problems. His courteous manner was much appreciated. The resort had areally nice "feel" to it. My whole family felt comfortable staying there. We would definitely stay there again.
Ease of location - great first up service by the male staff member. He knew what was going on and gave us some great info. Easy to park and easy to get to our room via the carpark and lifts - very quiet.
We unfortunately missed out on using the pool on the roof for half of our stay due to maintenance, when we asked the lady at the desk if we could go to the roof to use the BBQ she had no idea what was going on. A small flier under our door or one available at reception would have helped - we looked forward to using the pool on the roof with the BBQ and this was a shame that we couldnt - such is life as these things happen, not that we know what happened........ Also our diswasher stopped working halfway through and this was communicated to the desk, no follow up was done with us and we had to chase the resort up. It wasnt fixed and no further info was given to us, however on the last day we were offered some diswashing liquid........ However it was a nice resort and we could be persuaded to visit again
Its very nice but poor reception. The rooms are great and near the beach makes it a plus but it feels as if you are in the ocean alone without someone to ask any questions.
They didnt remove rubbish for the four days we were there. There is no direction on who to contact if you want to ask any questions They didnt tell us to bring our toiletries in application They didnt clean the place or four days
Everything about the resort just suited us. We felt as though we were back in hometown. Will definitely be there again if headed to gc.
Room was not very clean, Curtains dirty, drawers in bedroom dirty.Spa/shower not stable - moved when in shower. Was held up by a pile of what appeared to be broken tiles. Car park hard to get in and out of as entry point very narrow.
I loved the location, just out of the hustle and bustle of inner city yet minutes from all the luxuries and trimmings of the Gold Coast. I loved the convenience of booking online, this was trouble free.
The Atrium is located on the quieter north side of the Gold Coast which is why we chose it for our family holiday. The apartments are 5 minutes from Harbour Town shopping centre - an enormous factory outlet centre. It is also just 15 minutes drive from theme parks at Coomera. There are plenty of good cafes, restaurants and shops around for convenience. Our unit faced the Broadwater and was well appointed and maintained. Some tired bits and bobs but otherwise excellent. Our kids loved the roof-top pool.
